Maru

Maru’s history is a mystery but thankfully she was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Korea. She flew to NYC and has been in an incredible foster home who haS been so patient with her! Maru is a smart, adorable 3.5 year old girl who is sweet and sassy! Her smile and her sleeping poses are sure to make you melt 😄 Flights, new cities and sounds, new humans and new homes can be very stressful and scary for dogs. Poor Maru has had some trouble adjusting but has come a long way thanks to her incredible foster. She is learning to trust and that not all sounds are scary sounds! She is very food motivated and very vocal when she wants it 😅 Maru has been great with dogs but we’ve realized she needs to be the only dog of the home. She needs someone who can be consistent with her routine and allow her time to decompress and adjust before trying to work on building a bond. Right now she needs to learn she’s safe and can trust her caregiver, which she will! 💕 We would love for the perfect home to apply for Maru!
